Atlantis Early Learning

Our Story

Where we started

Graphic illustration of jellyfish

Twenty-five years ago Bob Hindle, our owner, started his first Early Learning service after being concerned for the standard of care provided to his son Rory. Today, Rory is by his side as they continue to provide exemplary care for other families. Just like theirs.

There are many Early Learning providers that will tell you they understand what your family needs and what it means to be local. The difference is, we live in your area - always have. Our business has grown alongside the families of the Northern Corridor and we appreciate and understand some of the challenges that our local families face. We care because we've been there.

When it came time to put his son into long daycare, Bob was concerned for what he saw in the industry. He understands what an honour it is to be placed with the responsibility of caring and nurturing someone's child. He wasn't satisfied with the answers he was given to his questions. So, rather than accept and sit back, he decided to do something about it. Atlantis Early Learning was born.

Today, Bob and Rory run Atlantis Early Learning together as family owners and operators. They are involved in every aspect of the business still to this day, because they care. There are no shortcuts when it comes to the monumental importance of early childhood. Let us show you the Atlantis difference.

Philosophy

Community, well-being, life skill development and child-led explorative learning are at the heart of everything we do.
A lifetime love of learning, self confidence and resilience are imperative to build the foundation for the formative years, whilst allowing the incredible magic of early childhood to lead the way.

We believe the minds of children are wonderous and need little in the way of moulding. Children are intuitive and confident learners and should be given the means to choose and develop their own learning paths. Children learn alongside Educators, through child-led investigation and discovery.
