Supporting Care Bags
Earlier this year, we organised an extremely successful Care Bags Winter drive when we collectively donated over 100 bags for this worthwhile cause.
We wanted to support our charity partner again with their Christmas Drive!
For a child in care, Christmas can be a difficult time for many reason's including potentially being separated from siblings and unable to spend time celebrating with family.
To help bring some magic and the spirit of Christmas, Care Bags are committed to donating Christmas gifts and chocolate stockings to as many children in care in Western Australia as possible. They want to help promote their sense of self-worth and show them the wider community care for them and their futures. Gifts and chocolate stockings will be distributed at Children and Carers Christmas parties across WA.
We have been blown away once again by the generosity of our community – our families and our staff. Some of our Support Office staff were delighted to hand deliver over 150 chocolate Christmas stockings and a massive amount of children's gifts this week to Care Bags representative Sandy Clancy. Sandy comments "I simply can't believe it! This is an amazing donation. Thank you again to everyone."
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our families and staff who donated. We have been blown away by the generosity of our community once again.
